It's New York Fashion Week: Men's y'all! In honor of this very important event, I'm posting my final look from New York back in December. I have always admired street style shots outside of fashion shows because that is where I think you see the best looks. The photographer I worked with has shot outside NYFW before and I told him I wanted to get shots of me similar to those. Street style has been a huge influence in my wardrobe as of late. It's all about mixing classics with bold and unique pieces.
Now to the look. As previously mentioned, I copped a pair of the Moonrock colorway of the Yeezy Boost 350s a few months back and honestly, I can't stop wearing them! They are the perfect go-to shoe whenever I need to run errands, head to a workout class, or just to add some comfortability to any outfit. Everyone always asks me if they are comfortable and my answer is always "100%." At first, the back kind of irritated my heel, but that quickly went away. Naturally, these were the perfect shoes for New York, especially with all the walking around.
I love pairing my Yeezys with all black ensembles, and also just casual light-washed denim and a leather jacket. I can't begin to tell you how many times people compliment my shoes or I catch people just staring at them (it just happened this past weekend). So if you can get your hands on a pair, an almost impossible feat I know, do it. I'm waiting for the next release with my wallet wide open. If you want to stay up to date with all Yeezy-related news, head over to Sneaker News. I check that site pretty frequently because I like to be in the know, and also it features a bunch of different sneakers that might pique your interest!
Also I loved the color coordination that went on in these photos and the outfit I was wearing. Completely unplanned! We were just walking in Soho and came across this mural, which actually was right behind Ladurée (how perfect, right?). Anyways, most of you know I'm back in Los Angeles and the weather has been sort of bipolar (of course), but it's been pretty sunny these past few days so I will most definitely be shooting more looks soon! Have some exciting collaborations coming up, so stay tuned! Happy #NYFWM everyone!
