It's my absolute favorite time of year... the holidays! Whether you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah or anything in between, 'tis the season to show your loved ones how much you care. While you can show your appreciation in other ways, gift giving is my favorite way to brighten up someone's holiday season. ...Read More
Ok so in order for you to truly get in the mood for this post, I need you to turn on some Dean Martin right now, specifically, 'On an Evening in Roma,' which you can find here. Now that you have the tunes going, we can begin. Either that or just turn on the Lizzie McGuire Movie soundtrack which is equally as satisfying.
Rome. What can I say about Rome? We were only there for a few days, and it wasn't nearly enough! When we were planning our trip, a ton of people said that Rome was a place we only needed to spend a few days at and some even said don't even bother. But I disagree because I think it is one of the first places you must go when you first visit Italy, which was the case for us. Although I can see why people would only say spend a few days (from a touristy point of view), I think Rome has so much to offer and there is a lot to do. While the "sights" may not be plentiful, I think the best part about traveling is fully experiencing and submerging yourself into the culture and do as the Romans do. So don't listen to the haters and spend a few days in Rome if you are planning your first trip to Italy. ...Read More
Italy. I have dreamt of the day I would finally be able to go to Italy and this Summer, that dream came true. It was on the top of my list to visit Italy while in Europe and the rest of my group was on the same page. Although there were other cities I wanted to visit as well (such as Venice, Milan, and the Amalfi Coast), we had a limited amount of time so I guess I'll just have to go back ;). Our first stop in Italy was Florence, and my oh my did I fall in love with Florence. ...Read More

I spent around 72 hours in Ibiza and I think it was the perfect amount of time to have spent there. We also took a day trip to Formentera, an island right off of Ibiza, that I will tell you all about below. So if you are interested, keep scrolling! ...Read More
Hello hello hello. It's been a while. But then again, when has it not? I am coming at you live today, refreshed and returned from my month (although I like to say Summer) in Europe. It was quite the whirlwind of a trip, but I had the best time spent with some amazing people and wouldn't have changed any second of it. I've decided, mainly for my own benefit, to document my thoughts and put together lists of my recommendations for each city. I have never been to any of the cities that I will be making guides for, so these could be pretty amateur, but I think my experience was the perfect mix of tourist and local. So if you are planning to visit any of the cities I went to, I hope these guides will help you in some way shape of form. I also found a majority of these places by recommendations from friends so this is not just me. Anyways, enough chit chat. Without further ado, I present to you my guide to Barcelona. ...Read More
